Social Media Manager

What You'll Do & How You'll Make An Impact:

The ideal candidate is a highly creative social media expert that can communicate product features in creative and engaging ways across social platforms. Not afraid of trying new concepts, trends, and formats, the social media content creator uses analytics to inform on performance to meet goals and monitor KPI’s.

This is a hands-on position that requires acute attention to detail, a passion for social media trends, staying on top of industry trends in the hospitality and restaurant vertical, and ability to work across departments to capture and translate product value propositions in to creative formats.

  • Manage, grow, and improve Tabit’s social media presence and collaborate with Channel Partners on their social media strategies (including posting, creating content, and analyzing performance)

  • Conduct social media audits to establish baselines and create recommendations for improvement

  • Design social media marketing strategies based upon company demand generation and brand awareness goals

  • Write copy for social media posts and ads

  • Create paid social media campaigns tailored to specific business objectives

  • Design visual content from scratch for social media such as organic image posts, videos, reels, and more

  • Direct and work with external agencies and freelancers on photo and video shoots with detailed story lines and creative briefs

  • Undertake social media marketing initiatives to achieve business targets

  • Translate technical product details and functionality in to engaging social media assets

  • Collaborate with design and product teams to produce high quality content

  • Work with content team’s editorial calendar to mirror content for social media distribution

  • Analyze social traffic metrics regularly to assess and report on effectiveness

  • Create performance dashboards for stakeholders

  • Share social media content through various channels, ensuring strong web presence

  • Receive customer feedback and generate ideas to increase customer engagement

  • Utilize in-app and third party graphic design/video design tools to craft engaging social media videos, reels, and graphics

  • Collaborate with Trade marketing team to bring awareness to Tabit’s participation at tradeshows, conferences, and thought leadership events and associations

  • Community management – engaging and interacting with followers, responding to comments, direct/private messages, and more

  • Influencer management and strategy

  • Demonstrate accountability and timeliness in producing and sharing content

  • Show entrepreneurial spirit in coming up with new ideas and being self-sufficient in completion of tasks

  • Take direction well, and collaborate with multiple departments to bring exceptional value to our social media initiatives

What You'll Need:

  • University degree and 5+ years’ experience building and reporting on social media strategies

  • Highly engaged with social media trends and evolving functionalities

  • Advanced skills creating social media content

  • Proficient with software that automates social media posting

  • Proficient with software that tracks social media performance

  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills with a focus on ROI

  • Basic skills in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator or equivalent software

  • Restaurant or hotel operations experience preferred (host/hostess, server, waiter, waitress, maître-d, bartender, general manager, or other)
